Jennie F. (Diver) Wehr, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, age 68, of Cardington Ohio, passed away Saturday July 13th, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. Jennie was the daughter of Richard and Phyllis (Cook) Diver of Mt. Gilead. Born in Dayton on August 30th, 1955, Jennie moved to Mt. Gilead when her parents became owners of the KOA Campground in 1970. A graduate of Highland HS, Jennie worked for KOA as well as MCA Records of Twinsburg, but the "work" she most treasured was living her quiet faith and loving her large circle of family and friends with good food, funny stories and wonderful adventures.
Jennie was preceded in death by her sisters, Cherie Diver and Lynn Combs as well as her nephews, Curtis and Chane Combs.
Left to cherish her memory are: husband, Robert, whom she married on May 12th, 1984; children: Jason (Rita) Webb and Emma (Paul) Wehr; grandchildren: Terry (Trish), Ashlynn, Hayley, Alix, Shyla, Maison, and Charlotte, ; great-grandchildren: Briana, Mason, Braven, Jackson, Carson, Suniva and Gatlin; sister: Connie (Tom) Shaffer; brother: John Diver and beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
A private family service officiated by Pastor Ed Colegrove will be held on Saturday August 3rd at 11:00 am, with a potluck at 12:30 pm for all friends and family. This will be held at a friend's house (Heinz Hill) located at 4211 Twp. Rd. 99, Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Please email: ewehr9709@gmail.com with any questions. Flowers, plants or any memorabilia will be welcomed at her memorial service in Jennie's memory. Thank you.
