Jeffrey Wayne Coil

Jeffrey W. Coil, age 61 of Cardington passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026. He was born a triplet and was the first set of triplets born in Delaware County on December 15, 1964, Ohio to the late John E. and Edna M. (Warden) Coil.

Jeffrey was a 1986 graduate of Hickory Knoll in Delaware County. He had worked as an assembly worker at Whetstone Industries until his retirement. His hard work and dedication were an inspiration to those who knew him.

Jeffrey was a homebody at heart who found his greatest joy in the simple comfort of being at home, surrounded by his friends he loved most. He cherished time spent with family and friends, had a love for good food, loved coffee, had a passion for motorcycles, and took great joy in collecting Scooby-Doo memorabilia, which brought out his playful spirit.

Jeffrey is survived by his siblings: Joseph (Jeanette) Coil, John Coil all of Mount Gilead, Janice Kendall of Wapakoneta, and Mary Nixon of Gainesville, MO, as well as close friends at the Walnut Street and Douglas Street home and friends and family at Whetstone Industries.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his siblings David Warden and Loy Haymaker.
