Jacqueline "Jacqui" K. (Strine) Taylor, age 67 of Marion died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at home. She was born on August 6, 1950 to the late John and Bernice (Burrey) Strine. Jacqui was a 1968 graduate of Cardington High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University. She was a 4th and 2nd grade teacher for River Valley Schools at the Claridon Elementary. Jacqui was a OSU fan and she enjoyed watching the football and basketball games especially. Jacqui is survived by her daughter, Megan Taylor of Marion; two sisters: Sharon (Dennis) Blose of Columbus and M. Joan (DeWayne) Jerome of Glendora, CA; niece, Kristen (Jon) Ryan of Richmond, VA and nephew, Christopher Blose of Columbus. Friends may call on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Kevin Kehn officiating. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 S. Prospect St., Marion, Ohio 43302 or the Marion Area Humane Society, 2264 Richland Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.
