Gary A. Sears, age 72 of Centerburg died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on April 21, 1946 in McComb County, Michigan to the late Bernard and Hellen (Sears) Sears. Gary worked several jobs through the years; he worked as a short order cook, a custodian, a beautician, worked for Matha-T-Berry, before later retiring from the Frost Bite Ice cream factory. He was a devote Roman Catholic. Gary enjoyed gardening and visiting various antique shows. On July 26, 2015 Gary married William Thien in Toledo, Ohio. William survives Gary in Clinton Township, Michigan. In addition to his husband, Gary is survived by a sister, Jacqueline Harris of Warren Michigan, and his niece Rhonda Hill. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Gompf Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Gary Sears.
