Gary Michael Rhodes Jr.

Gary Michael Rhodes Jr., age 45 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 4, 1977, in Columbus to Gary Michael Rhodes Sr. and Karen A. (Stover) Michael.

Mike had worked as a hotel maintenance manager for Days Inn in Bridgeport, WV for several years. He was extremely good at his job, came to work each day with a smile on his face and was loved by all his co-workers.

In his spare time Mike enjoyed woodworking and had made several different items over the years. He also enjoyed tinkering on model cars and was working on a few recently. Mike also collected knives which was a passion he had picked up from his grandfather. Above all else, Mike enjoyed reading his Bible every day.

Left to cherish Mike's memory are his father, Gary M. Rhodes Sr. of Marion, mother, Karen A. Michael of Delaware; two siblings: Mark Rhodes of Marion and Stephanie (James) Fisher of Marengo; two aunts, Kandis Snaith of New York and Chris Curtis of Delaware as well as numerous extended family members.

Friends may call on Monday, August 8, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gompf Funeral home, 440 Center St. Cardington, Ohio 43315. The funeral service will begin at the conclusion of visitation at 4:00 PM and Pastor Aaron Beacom will officiate.
