Fred Bradley Kincaid

Fred Bradley Kincaid, of Cardington died on December 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 92. Fred was born on January 16, 1932, in Morrow County, Ohio, to the late Daniel C. and Airetta M. (Stoner) Kincaid and spent his life in the Cardington area, where he would go on to raise his family and make lasting memories.

Fred served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, achieving the rank of Private First Class before being honorably discharged in 1954. After his time in service, he dedicated himself to work as a Safety Coordinator at Quaker Oats, a role he cherished until retirement.

Fred leaves behind his beloved wife, Carol Kincaid, and a loving family that includes his daughters, Vicki Davenport, Barbara (Daryl) White, and Robin Kincaid. He will also be missed by his siblings, including brothers Clarance Kincaid and John (Jane) Kincaid, and sisters Lola Elzey and Kathryn Reed; as well as 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Fred was a man who valued family, community, and hard work, and his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by two sons: James Bradley Kincaid, Steven Gustave Kincaid; four brothers: Eldon Jr, Roger, Clifford, Kenneth and a sister Elsie Deckling

Friends may call on Sunday, January 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center St. Cardington, Ohio 43315 where the funeral service will take place on Monday, January 6, 2024, at 11:30 AM. Following the service, the burial will take place in the Glendale Cemetery with full military honors.
