Floyd Robert “Rosco” Davidson, age 67 of Cardington died Monday evening, January 20, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on May 27, 1952 in Mason City, WV to the late Robert and Ruth Ellen (Lowe) Davidson Jr.
Rosco had been an electrician for Simms Electric. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the VFW #8054. Rosco enjoyed working on his trucks, mower and cutting the grass. He loved his grandkids dearly and was an OSU athletics enthusiast.
On July 24, 1967, Rosco married Patricia Anderson in Bristol, Tennessee, and she survives in Cardington.
In addition to his wife, Rosco is survived by his three children: Patty (Bill) Dekle, Larry (Michelle) Davidson, and Mark Davidson all of Cardington; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and a sister, Carolyn Osborne of Mt. Gilead.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street, Cardington, OH. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at the Glendale Union Cemetery in Cardington.
