Elizabeth "Liz" Lucille (Mitchell) Roush

Elizabeth L. (Mitchell) Roush beloved, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, age 62 of Marengo passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born on December 18, 1961, in Columbus to Howard E. Mitchell and Sharon L. (Motts) Mitchell.

Liz attended Buckeye Valley High School and later went on to be a homemaker, taking care of her family was most important to her.

Liz loved crafts, especially scrapbooking and working with plastic canvas. She loved everything about Halloween and in her free time she enjoyed going to mud runs.

On December 13, 1996, Liz married Jeffrey Roush in Mount Gilead, he survives in Marengo.

In addition to her mother and her husband, Liz is survived by her children: Andrew Lee Roush of Marengo, Eric Ray (Amy) Roush of Carroll, Jon Lynn (Laura) Roush of Gahanna and Chris Roush of Sunbury; nine grandchildren; her siblings; Chet Mitchell and Kim Mitchell both of Delaware, Teri (Joe) Albright of Cardington, Pam (Bill Salmons) Rognon of Marysville and Becky (Vann) Seawell of Galena; as well as her fury companion, her dog Bandit.

Liz was preceded in death by her father Howard Mitchell.

A memorial service for Liz will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM at the Delaware Eagles, 127 E. William Street, Delaware, Ohio 43015.
