Donald Leo Kennedy

Donald L. Kennedy, age 86 of Cardington passed away Saturday December 17, 2022, at Morrow County Hospital. He was born on April 22, 1936, in Kenton to the late Harold and Marcina (Walkins) Kennedy.

Donald had worked as a machinist for Tecumseh for 16 years, he later went to work for J.G. Clark until retirement.

Donald spent most of his free time woodworking as he really enjoyed it. He also liked to go on drives around town with his brother Bob.

On November 1, 1957, Donald married Janice Louise (Hack) in Cardington, she preceded him in death on March 12, 1999.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Becky (Steven) Kennedy-Sparks of Marion, and Donald A. (Candy) Kennedy of Cardington, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Kathy (Dick) Hack and brother Bob Kennedy both of Cardington.

In addition to his wife and parents, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter Kim Beery and his two sisters Audrey and Linda.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday December 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Marion Cemetery.
