Dolores Jean (Snyder) Freeman

Dolores J. Freeman, beloved mother, age 91 of Powell passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1933, in Cardington to the late Dallas and Lovenia (Martin) Snyder.

Dolores, after graduating high school went to Kent State University and studied Home Economics. She later became a homemaker. Dolores loved to take care of her golden retrievers, she had five in total over the years: Dusty, Smokey, Buff, Kirby, and Amber. She also loved to play the piano and sing with her son.

On September 26, 1959, Dolores married David Lee Freeman in Willoughby, Ohio, he preceded her in death April 12, 2023.

Dolores is survived by her son Creighton Freeman of Powell.

A graveside service for Dolores will take place in the Glendale Union Cemetery on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
