David Lee Weber III

David L. Weber, age 39 of Cardington died Friday, September 24, 2021, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1982, to David Lee Weber II and Teri Lynn (Stiffler) Yates.

David was Honorably discharged after serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was self-employed, doing a little bit of everything.

Growing up David was involved in 4-H showing and raising rabbits. He enjoyed fishing, model cars, woodworking and just tinkering around the house. David was always willing to lend a helping hand when there was a need.

David is survived by his mother, Teri (Carol) Yates of Marion, his father David (Trayci Sherwood) Weber II of Cardington, his siblings: Jayme Weber of Marion, Don Weber of Delaware, Andrew Weber of Cardington, Kassalee (Lee) Gibson of Marion, and stepbrother Gary Price of Cardington; paternal grandfather David Weber of Columbus; and two nieces, Kimberly and Ivy.


Friends may call on Friday Oct. 1, 2021 from 4:00 until the start of the funeral service at 6:00PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Jay Weaver with Full Military Honors being presented.
