Danny Lee Lashley

Danny L. Lashley, age 64 passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. He was born on July 28, 1959, in Columbus to the late Raymond and Mary (Timson) Lashley.

Danny loved classic rock, animals of all kinds, going fishing and classic cars. He was very mechanically inclined and could fix just about anything. Danny was a morning person, he loved to wake up early and start his day. He was known for making people laugh. Danny had a big heart and was very loving and caring towards his family. He enjoyed watching Ohio State and professional wrestling. He was the partner of Linda Lee Shelley until her death in 1999.

Danny is survived by fiancé, Christine Aldridge, his siblings: Kathy (Bobby) Lockhart, Hazel Martin, Joe (Cindy) Lashley, Shirley Lashley and Mary Fisher, his stepchildren: Walter K. Shelley IV, Daniel Shelley, Christina Shelley, John Aldridge, Christopher Landon, Anthony Landon and Irene Boldwin; as well as extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his two brothers, Howard, and Paul Lashley.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will follow directly at 5:00 PM. A burial will take place in Rivercliff Cemetery at a later date.
