Daniel Raleigh McClure

Daniel R. McClure, age 80 of Fredericktown died Sunday, December 8, 2018 at his home.  He was born on May 27, 1938 to the late Starling and Maude (O’Quinn) Presley. 

Dan was a glazer for The Ohio State University. He was a Jack of All Trades. Dan fixed everything for everyone and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

On June 9, 1960 Dan married Faye Harrington in Columbus, who survives in Fredericktown.

In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by his children: Ricky McClure of Fredericktown, Lisa (Peter) Aiello of Mount Gilead, Sara (Charles Jr.) Kendrick of Cardington, and Terry McClure of Columbus; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings: Sue (Guy) White of Sunbury, Ann Hartman of Apple Valley, Audrey (Wendy) Osborne of Galena, and Ryland (Florence) Presley of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by two grandsons: Ricky Allen McClure Jr. and Daniel Philip Dailey; granddaughter, Rayna McKenzie Kendrick; and a sister, Roberta Easterday.

Friends may call on Friday, December 14, 2018 from11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington.  The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Jackson officiating.
