Connie Sue Tennant

Connie S. Tennant, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, age 64 of Cardington passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Avita Galion Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1959, in Mount Gilead to the late John D. and Lura E. (Robinson) Tennant Sr.

Connie had worked for News Color Press, producing inserts and at Dollar General as a clerk. She had attended Gilead Friends Church and Cardington Baptist Temple over the years. Connie was a kind soul; she knew no stranger. She was a powerful prayer warrior, if you knew her, she probably prayed for you.

Connie enjoyed attending Bible study over the years, as well as sewing, crocheting, working on puzzles, and swimming. She loved to sing as well as doing anything craft related, as she took pride in the items she would make. Connie loved playing with Legos, and playdough with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish Connie's memory is her children: Windy (Carl Daniels) Tennant of Loudonville and Richard Looker of Cardington; her grandchildren: Jackson Looker and Colton and Ashlynn Daniels; her siblings Thomas (Connie) Tennant of Cardington, John (Bonnie) Tennant of Mount Gilead, and Bonnie (Tim Moyer) Tennant of AZ; as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her adopted children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Looker and her sister Sondra Meek.

Friends may call on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 12:00 PM to the start of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington.
