Christopher Eric Wyatt

Christopher Eric Wyatt, 59, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at Marion General Hospital, following medical complications.

Chris was born May 4th, 1963, to Clarence and Lavina Wyatt in Galion, Ohio. He was a proud alumni of Cardington-Lincoln High School, Class of 81, where he excelled at baseball, basketball and football. His love of sports continued after high school, as he religiously followed The Ohio State Buckeyes. When he wasn't catching a game, Chris was an avid tinker, antiquary and, like his father, a car enthusiast. There wasn't a person Chris met who he couldn't strike up a conversation with, he's easy-going spirit made sure he made friends wherever he went.

He is survived by his loving daughters: Casie Eckholm (Pennypacker) of Phoenix, AZ (husband Duane) and Carla Bucio (Wyatt) of Marion, OH (husband Juan, daughter Trinity and son Messiah); three siblings: Clarence Wyatt Jr. of Edison, OH (partner Monica), Carla Derryberry of Belleville, MI (husband Terry) and Clayton Wyatt of Mt. Gilead, OH (partner Lisa), numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends, as well as life-long partner, Linda Pennypacker.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lavina, and nephew, Jordan.

The family advises if you wish to honor Chris' spirit, to plant a tree in his name.

A Celebration of Life is in the works for close family in 2023, details will be provided once available.
