Christopher A. Redman, beloved husband, devoted father, son, brother and uncle, age 47 of Cardington passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on May 10, 1977, in Marion, to Ronnald M. and Patricia A. (Stelzried) Redman.
Chris was a 1995 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. He went on to receive his associate's degree from Marion Technical College in Accounting and Business Management. Chris worked as a Morning Merchandise Forklift Operator for Costco and has previously worked for International Paper for 25 years.
Through the years, Chris dedicated himself to spending quality time with his family, attending the girls' sporting events, and supporting them at various school functions. His passion for the moments they shared created lasting memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Chris enjoyed watching sports, especially Ohio State University, Buffalo Bills and Duke Blue Devils basketball. He liked going to concerts and listening to live music as well as hanging around the house with the family cat, Spice.
On September 6, 2008, Chris married Christina M. (Barber) in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, she survives in Cardington.
In addition to his loving wife, Chrissy, Chris is survived by their two beautiful daughters, Chessa and Channing, his mother Patricia, his brother Chad (Sarah) Redman of Richwood, his niece, KylieAnn Redman, his nephew, Justin Redman and numerous extended family members.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Ronnald Redman.
While we mourn the loss of such a remarkable man, we also celebrate the life Chris lived. He touched countless hearts with his warmth, humor, and generous spirit. His legacy of love will carry on through his daughters, who reflect the kindness and vibrancy their father instilled in them.
A celebration of Chris' life will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 PM at the American Legion Hall, 307 Park Street, Cardington, Ohio 43315.
Gompf Funeral Service of Cardington is honored to have been chosen to assist the Redman family with Chris' final wishes and condolences may be expressed at www.gompffh.com.
