Cathy (Wigton) Brookover

Cathy S. Brookover, age 61 of Mount Gilead died Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on October 23, 1958 in Mt. Gilead to the late Ernest and Ruth (Powell) Wigton.

Cathy married Steve Brookover, and he survives. She was a daycare worker and she enjoyed crafts, read romance novels, country music, and collecting things.

In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by her siblings: Carol Wigton of Mt. Gilead, Susan (Danny) Geyer of Marion, Annie (Brian) Belcher of Fremont, Connie (Luis) Cuenco of Oklahoma, and Allen (Kim) Wigton of Mt. Gilead.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Wigton, and infant twins.

Friends many call on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street, in Cardington. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
