Cassie Lynn Shrader

Cassie L. Shrader, age 26 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1996, in Mount Gilead to Mark A. Shrader and Dawn M. (Young) Shrader.

Cassie was a 2014 graduate of Elgin High School and had attended Tri-Rivers as well during her time in high school. She was an extremely hard worker and had most recently worked for Piston Automotive.

Cassie loved Stitch and collected all sorts of memorabilia, she also enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. Even though she loved to argue, Cassie was the most kindhearted and loving person you would ever meet. She would find any way she could to help someone out if they needed it. Cassie's family was everything to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with Trenten, her nephew's and niece. One memory that Cassie had that she always cherished was walking the beaches in Myrtle Beach with her sister Alyssa collecting seashells.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Dawn (Randy Harper) Shrader of Marion; stepfather, Jimmy Smith of Marion; stepson, Trenten Firstenberger; three sisters: Alyssa (Damon) Ritchie of Marion, Anita (Todd) Ludwig of Marengo and Samantha Smith of Marion; three brothers, Brandon Smith of Marion, Dustin Shrader of Marion, and Chris Shrader of Marion; grandmother, Susan Murphy of Marion; grandfather, Michael G. Young of Marion; nephews, Joel, Theo, Caleb, Landon and niece Madison.

Cassie was preceded in death by her father, Mark Shrader.

Friends may call on Monday, December 26, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 center St. Cardington, Ohio 43315.
