Carter Joe Tucker

Carter J. Tucker, age 76, passed from this life on Sunday November 21, 2021, at his home in Morrow County. He was born February 12, 1945, to Herbert L. Tucker, Sr. and Christeen (Blade) Tucker in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

Carter was a 1964 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. He had worked at H.P.M. as a supervisor and at Levering Brothers Plumbing and Heating. He was a master mechanic of both small and large engines. Carter recently rebuilt a 1991 F150 Ford truck, both engine and body. He was an accomplished carpenter, remodeling homes, making cabinets, and furniture.

Carter is survived by his 4 sons; Steven Tucker of Cardington, Michael (Collie) Tucker of Fulton, Toby (Erica) Tucker of Cardington, and Aric (Rebecca) Tucker of Delaware; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Betty (Edward) Delgado of Sunbury and Patricia (Paul) Howard of Limon, CO. and long-time companion, Pam Mathews.

In addition to his parents, Carter was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Zollen Tucker, Anthony Tucker, and Herbert Tucker, Jr.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
