Carol Ann (Davidson) Osborn

Carol A. Osborn, age 71 of Edison, died on Friday, December 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 12, 1950, in Richlands, VA to the late Robert and Ruth (Lowe) Davidson.

Carol had worked in final repairs at Flexible Bus in Delaware. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as cooking and baking. Carol's family especially loved her fried chicken. She also enjoyed making crafts with wreaths, baskets and Christmas décor being some of her favorite things to make. Carol had attended the Freewill Baptist church.

Left to cherish Carol's memory are her 3 children: Sue (Randy) Shenberger of Mount Gilead, Rhonda (Frank) Large of Marion and Skip (Missy) Osborn of Cardington; husband, James Johnson of Edison; grandchildren: Renee Wycuff, Robert Osborn, Carol (Michael) Taylor, Heather (Brandon) Moodispaugh, Kurt Heim, Karlissa (Danielle) Treboni, Cody (Keshia) Chalfant, Trey (Kirsten) Osborn, Brittany (Nic) Clunk, Nikki Cain, April Large, Derek (Christie) Shenberger, Olivia Shenberger, Kimberlyn Seitz and Kaitlyn Straley; special sister-in-law, Pat Davidson and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Newton Osborn; son, Whorley (Billy) Osborn and brother, Floyd Robert Davidson.

Friends may call on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center St. Cardington, Ohio 43315. The funeral service will begin promptly at the conclusion of calling hours at 6:30 PM with Pastor Ronnie Miller officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Glendale Union Cemetery.
