Brian Clay Zimmerman

Brian Clay Zimmerman, age 69 of Cardington passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Morrow County Hospital. He was born on September 25, 1952, in Columbus to Lorn C. and Elizabeth M. (Carmen) Zimmerman who preceded him in death.

Brian was a 1971 graduate of Mifflin High School. He had worked at Worthington Industries for 29 years and then went on to work security at The Kroger Distribution Center.

Brian liked playing the guitar, singing, and going fishing. He attended the Mount Gilead Church of Christ.

On February 28, 1976, Brian married Bonnie Fay (Bowen) in Gahanna, who survives in Cardington.

In addition to his wife Bonnie, Brian is survived by his children: Aaron (Ashley) Zimmerman of Grove City and Kevin (Emily) Zimmerman of Cheshire, CT.; four grandchildren: Luke, Autumn, Erica, Tyler and one on the way.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister Pamela Cade.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington.  The funeral service will be held Friday, June 24, 2022, at the funeral home at 10:00 AM with calling hours taking place one hour prior to the service. Pastor Doug Bryan officiate, and the burial will take place in the Glendale Cemetery.
