Brian Christopher Winchell

Brian C. Winchell, beloved son, husband, father and brother, age 67 of Cardington passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on July 1, 1957, in Mount Gilead to Charles H. and Jacqueline M. (Mason) Winchell.

Brian was a 1975 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. He later went on to own his own construction business and was well known in the community for his work.

Brian was kind and knew everyone, he never met a stranger. He loved going to concerts and listening to live music. Brian enjoyed hiking with Lisa, they enjoyed spending time outdoors with each other.

He and his wife Lisa enjoyed 18 years together, she survives in Cardington.

In addition to his mother and wife, Brian is survived by his children: Thomas, Kaci, Kaila and Johnny; four grandchildren, his sister Charlotte "Char" Osborn as well as his nephew Nathan and niece Cori.

Brian was preceded in death by his father Charles Winchell.

A memorial service for Brian will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the American Legion Hall, 307 Park Street, Cardington, Ohio 43315.
