Brian Scott Hess

Brian S. Hess, age 41 of Cardington, died Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1978 to Vicki L. (Wise) and Carl W. Hess.

Brian was a 1997 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. He had worked at the Kroger Warehouse as a mechanic for many years before he left to take care of his ailing mother.

Brian had spent most of his time over the last few years devoted to taking care of his mother, trying to provide her with the best care possible before she passed. He loved spending time in his garage working on things and hanging out with his friends. Brian was a loyal “Chevy Man” through and through. He was also extremely loyal to the Cardington Fire Department where he had served as a volunteer firefighter for close to 20 years.

Left to cherish Brian’s memory are his 4 children: Lydia, Isabelle, Parker and Marcella Hess all of Cardington.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Wise and his sister, Erika Hess.

Due to the current circumstances, Brian’s family has elected to not hold public services at this time. He will be remembered however for his service to the fire department with a “Final Ride” through town. Brian’s memorial ride will take place on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM with the fire department leaving from the Cardington High School and traveling through town past the fire house.
