Brent Austin Cookson

Brent A. Cookson, age 67 of Cardington passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Morrow County Hospital. He was born on April 14, 1955, in Maine to Norman and Virginia (Simpson) Cookson who precede him in death.

Brent was very passionate about his wife, daughter, and grandchildren. He was a very hard-working man. He loved going fishing with his wife. He loved going to Maine to visit his family and eat great seafood. He loved spending time with his family.

On September 18, 1982, married Anna J. (Thorne) in Westerville, after 40 years together, one daughter, three grandchildren, and lots of memories, she survives in Cardington.

In addition to his wife Anna, Brent is survived by daughter Autumn Lauthers of Fulton, his grandchildren, Madison, Braxton and Bradley. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Brent is also survived by his five siblings: Nora, Norma, Gayle, Paulette, and Ara.

In addition to his parents, Brent was preceded in death by five siblings: Jerry, Wayne, Bruce, Phyliss, and Sandy.
