Betty Rose (Stoller) Wilson

Betty R. Wilson, age 88 of Cardington, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1937, in Galion, Ohio to the late Howard G. and Rose A. (Keckler) Stoller.

Betty graduated from Galion High School in 1955. She had worked as the Cardington Lincoln School District's Treasurer for 18 years. Betty was a member of the Cardington United Methodist Church.

Betty found great joy in serving others and giving back to her community. She dedicated much of her time to volunteering and was an active member of the Red Cross Board, the Disciple Shop Board, and faithfully served as a Trustee at her church. Along with her many acts of service, Betty also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially spending time playing Bingo and playing cards.

On September 15, 1960, Betty married the love of her life, Donald Wilson in Cardington, Ohio. Donald preceded her in death on December 6, 2025.

Left to cherish Betty's memory is her daughter Donna (Barry) Wilson-Baney, and granddaughter Hannah Baney all of Galena; her sister Patricia, brother Carl Stoller and half-sister Judy Gaines; and grandniece Janelle Varveris.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Following the service, the burial will take place in the Glendale Cemetery.
