Betty Willford Obituary

Betty C. Willford, age 75 of Mount Gilead died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. She was born on December 14, 1945 to the late Oscar C. and Carolyn A. (Robnolte) Geiser.

On February 22, 1964, Betty married Dwight E. Willford and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2016.

Betty was a graduate of High School and then obtained her STNA License. She had worked for Heartland of Bucyrus for 27 years until retirement. Betty was a member of the Golden Gems Senior Center.

Betty is survived by a son Chris (Tammie) Willford of Mount Gilead and a daughter, LeeAnn (Jim) Arnold of New Washington; 2 sisters: Claudia Wright and Diane Tope both of Florida and 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Doug Willford.

Gompf Funeral Service of Cardington is honored to have been choses to assist the Willford family with Betty’s final wishes. The family will hold a celebration of life for Betty later in the year after the pandemic.
