Betty Lou (Higgins) Elliott

Betty L. Elliott, age 75 of Cardington passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at her home. She was born on March 28, 1947, in Marion to Clarence Monroe Higgins and Sybil Eleanor (Bridinger) who preceded her in death.

Betty had worked as a server at the Cardington Eagles. She was a member of the V.F.W and the Eagles. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and canning. She loved playing games of chance. Betty cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children Vickie (Todd) Oty of TN, and Traci Landon of Cardington; two grandsons Timmy and Nate Hunt, and four great-grandchildren; her siblings James (Judy) Higgins of Cardington, Larry Higgins of Mount Gilead, and Debra Nasiatka of Mount Gilead.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son Jamie Elliott, her grandson Justin Bowersmith, her three brothers Gary, Edward, and Donald Higgins, and her two sisters Shirley Fraizer and Carol Crislip.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 29, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Glendale Union Cemetery, 105 Glendale Street, Cardington, Ohio 43315, with Ordained Minister Nate Hunt officiating.
