Benjamin Lee Good

Benjamin L. Good, age 38, of Mount Gilead died Thursday December 23, 2021, in the Marion General Hospital. He was born March 26, 1983, in Columbus to Brent R. Good and Joy (McDonald) Salyer.

Ben was a 2001 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School and had attended The Ohio State University. He had worked as a barista at Starbucks. Ben enjoyed building computers and had built his own personal gaming computer. He enjoyed books, movies, camping, and loved to travel. Ben had a great sense of humor, was gracious and polite, and always the first to pay a complement to others.

Benjamin is survived by his mother, Joy (McDonald) Salyer of Mt. Gilead; father, Brent R. (Patricia) Good of Ashville; stepfather, Steve Salyer of N.C.; siblings, Adam Salyer of Mt. Gilead, Alexandra Salyer of Waynesville, Elizabeth Good of Columbus and Rebecca Good of Ashville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday Dec. 27, 2021, from 5:00 until 7:00PM at the Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. A private family graveside service will follow.
