Barbara Nancy (Wiles) Heimlich

Barbara N. Heimlich, age 82 of Cardington died Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1939, to Robert and Lucille (Vencil) Wiles who preceded her in death.

Barbara graduated from Richlands High School in 1957. She was a bookkeeper and office manager for Simero. In her free time Barbara enjoyed gardening, painting, and making beautiful cards as she was an avid crafter. She loved to remodel her homes.

On June 4, 1960, Barbara married Richard Heimlich in Richmond, Indiana. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2006.

Barbara is survived by her children: Lisa (Jim) Wellhausen of Cardington, Teri (Roger) Hartwell of Mount Gilead, Rick Heimlich of TN., and Steve (Julia) Heimlich of Cardington, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, her two sisters Jane Walker and Margaret Smith, and brother Buddy Sparks.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Tommy and three sisters Ann, Sue, and Cricket.
