Obituary

Barbara R. Garner, age 53 of Cardington, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at her home. She was born on October 26, 1969, in Westmoreland County, PA to the late David C. and Karen M. (White) Priestly.

Barbara was a 1987 graduate of Groveport Madison Highschool. After high school, Barbara went on to work as a waitress and bartender at several locations throughout Columbus.

In her free time, Barbara enjoyed traveling and had recently taken several trips. She enjoyed spending time with friends; you always knew when Barbara was around because she loved to make her opinions known. Barbara's favorite color was purple, and she loved all things tie-dye. Her most cherished things though were her grandchildren, whom she loved spending time with.

Barbara is survived by her three children: Justin (Stephanie) Priestly of Mt. Vernon, Brittany Craig of Scio and Morgan Wissinger of Cardington; 4 grandchildren: Myla, Kiyah, Genevieve, and Aries; and 3 siblings: Angel England, Suzanne White, and Asher Priestly as well as numerous friends and extended family.
