Arianna Grace Shadwick

Arianna Grace Shadwick, age 36 of Marengo passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. She was born on December 13, 1989, to Gavin D. and Danna M. (Bowman) Shadwick.

Arianna spent many years as an assistant manager at Arby's and later served as an assistant manager at Bell Store. Arianna had most recently worked at Taco Bell. She had a love for animals, with a special fondness for horses that brought her great joy. Above all, Arianna cherished time spent with her children, being together was what mattered most to her. You could often find her with a Dr. Pepper in her hand, enjoying one of her favorite simple pleasures.

In addition to her mother Danna Shadwick of Marengo, Arianna is survived by her significant other Chad Golden; her children: Justice, Spencer, Gracie, Bella and Jasper Golden all of Marengo; grandson Nolan on the way; her siblings: Lora (David) Turner, Gavin Shadwick Jr. both of Columbus and Shayla Shadwick of Marengo; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arianna was preceded in death by her father Gavin Shadwick and her brother Tyler Shadwick.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington, with the funeral service directly following at 12:00 PM with Pastor Julie Fox officiating.  Following the service, the burial will take place in the Marengo Cemetery.
