Anna Jane (Ullom) Lingrel

Anna Jane Lingrel, age 80 of Cardington died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1941 to the late Albert and Carrie (Mathews) Ullom.

Jane was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing puzzle books, Cleveland Indians, watching her grandkids show cattle and play baseball, and working at the Cardington Community Food Pantry. Jane loved her family cookouts and sitting on the porch with her neighbors watching people walk by.

On August 9,1969 Anna married Billy Lingrel Sr. in Pharisburg, WV, who preceded her in death on November 18, 2002.

Jane is survived by her children: Betty Brandum of Cardington, Carol (Dwight) McFarland of Cardington, and Connie (Gordon) Shepherd of Alger, OH; brother, Jim (Vickie) Ullom of Cardington; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jane was preceded in death by her son Billy Dale Lingrel Jr., brother, Walter Mailey and sister, Elizabeth (Mailey) Meadows.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Glendale Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Turner officiating. The burial will follow.
