Raymond F. "Pete" Bauman, 83, of Tucson, Arizona and longtime resident of Cardington, Ohio passed away Monday May 28, 2018. He was born January 11, 1935 in Detroit, MI, son of the late Raymond H. and Alberta (Bald) Bauman. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Kathleen (Fowler) Bauman. Raymond lived in Cardington from 1973 to 1996 and was a member of the Cardington First United Methodist Church, Cardington Rotary Club, and American Legion. He worked at ITT North Electric for over 20 years as an engineer. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his dog RJ. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara (Cain) Bauman of Tucson Arizona, children from his first wife Maureen (Meath) Kopach: Patrick Bauman, Colleen (Tom) Montoya, Dawn Bauman, Bonnie (Charlie) Gamez, children from his second wife Kathleen: Rebecca (Doug) Lowy, Scott (Jacey) Bauman, Matthew (Renee) Bauman, sister Carla (Jim) Laraway, and three grandchildren: Christopher Bauman, Michael Bauman, and Marcus Bauman. He is also survived by his wife's children: Barbara "Billie Jo" Benson, Karen Benson, Russell Benson, and grandchildren: Joshua Benson, Jessica Powell, and Camron Benson. Memorial donations in memory of Raymond may be made to the Disabled American Veterans charity dav.org.
