Mark A. Shrader

Age 44, of East Gregory Street in Cardington died at his home Tuesday, March 23, 2006. He was born August 9, 1961 in Mount Gilead to Max R. Shrader, who survives in Cardington, and Doris A. (Waddell) Rowlen, who preceded him in death. Also surviving is his step-father, Paul “Peanut” and Joann Rowlen of Cardington.

Mark was a 1980 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School and worked as a press operator for Sypris. He attended Cardington First United Methodist Church.

On April 27, 1997 in Cardington he married Dawn M. Young and she survives in Cardington.

Survivors also include 5 children, Chris Shrader of Marengo, Dustin Shrader of Cardington, Katelin Shrader, Cassie Shrader of Cardington and Alyssa Shrader of Cardington; 2 grandchildren, Madison and Caleb Shrader; 7 siblings and their spouses, Bruce and DeAnna Shrader of Cardington, Judy and Steve Castle of Cardington, Tammy and Greg Scott of Marion, Gina and Russell Snyder of Cardington, Chuck and Vickie Rowlen of California, Roxanne Rowlen of Marengo, Gary and Jennifer Rowlen of Marengo, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday, March 27, 2006 from 3:00 to 6:00PM at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington. Funeral services will follow at 6:00PM with Pastor John Jackson officiating.
