Lowell Bader Obituary

Lowell R Bader, age 96, of County Road 28, Edison died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Morrow County Hospital. He was born February 23, 1912 in Marion to the late Francis V. and Charlotte (Roush) Bader.

Lowell was a 1930 graduate of Edison High School and was a life long farmer. He was a member of Denmark United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge # 206 F & AM and Morrow County Farm Bureau Council.

On April 12, 1936 in Denmark, Ohio he married the former Donna Brady and she preceded him in death on January 4, 1998.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Rita Bader of Edison, a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John G. Stimpson of Charlevoix, MI; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents and wife, Lowell was preceded in death by a son, Randy G. Bader and 3 brothers, Donald, Leroy and Robert Bader

Friends may call at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 2:00 to 5:00PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Denmark United Methodist Church. Reverend Robert Johncox will officiate and burial will follow in Worden Cemetery.
