Judith E. Steck, age 62 of Cardington died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on January 5, 1956 to the late Walter C. and Mildred E. (Hatten) Adams. Judy had worked at Cosmos Plastics where she met her husband Donald. She also worked at Woodside Village Care Center as a STNA for 13 years. Judy enjoyed playing cards and was a "Jack of All Trades' and known as the handywoman of the family. Her most prized possession was her loving family. On April 30, 1976 Judy married Donald Steck in Cardington, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2017 Judy is survived by her children: Andrew Steck of Big Island, Angie (Jason) Crawford of Iberia, and Bobbi (Kenny) Brodman of Marion; 2 grandchildren: Tyler Steck and Addison Brodman; siblings: Kathtleen (Eric) Masters of Lexington, Fred (Kathy) Adams, Tom (Gina) Adams, Joe Adams, and Susan (Aaron) Windbiglar all of Cardington. Friends may call on Monday January 22, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Chris Plough officiating. The burial will take place at Marengo Cemetery at a later date.
