Harry Day Obituary

Harry E. Day, age 73 of Mount Gilead died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Woodside Village. He was born in Wheeling, W.V. on April 6, 1945 to the late Earl and Jean (Humphrey) Day. Harry enjoyed fishing and eating a good meal. He never passed at the opportunity to go to a yard sale. Harry also loved spending time with his great-grandchildren. On May 4, 1974, Harry married his loving wife Linda (Scott) who preceded him in death on April 3, 2015. Harry is survived by four children; Jody (Kenneth) Bennett of Mount Gilead, David (Kara) Day of Marion, Grace Day of Galion and Christopher Day of Mount Gilead; five siblings; Judith (Dale) Hankings of Florida, Raymond (Brownie) Schoff of Florida, Norman (Francis) Day of Mount Gilead, Edwin Day of Ashley and Alice (Gary) Everly of Marion; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
