Gina Rae (Waddell) Adams

Gina R. Adams, Age 57 of Cardington, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born on June 7, 1961 in Mt. Gilead to Donald L. Waddell of Mt. Gilead Sandra J. and Orville (Sexton) Oty who survives in Cardington.



Gina was a 1979 graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School and went on to run an in-home daycare for close to 20 years when she looked after countless children. She most recently worked as an ultra sound clerk for Ohio Health. Gina enjoyed crafts and would make just about anything. Gina’s life revolved around her grandchildren and her family. She would always put everyone before herself and was truly the backbone of the Adam’s family. Gina was an incredibly strong individual and prided herself on loyalty and honesty.

On August 12, 1979 in Cardington, Gina married Thomas Adams, and he survives in Cardington.

In addition to her husband and parents, Gina is survived by 3 children: Casey Adams (Mike Tenbarge) of Cardington, Betsy Adams of Cardington and Jesse (Logan) Adams of Marengo; 2 siblings: Scott (Tracy Faust) Waddell of Cardington and Kelly (Leiann) Waddell of Delaware and 8 grandchildren: Laney, Chloe, Owen, Rikki, Brayson, Ridge, Grainger and Brecken.

Gina was preceded in death by a grandson, Gabriel and grandparents, Rickey and Hilda Sexton.

The Adam’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 center street, Cardington, Ohio 43315
