Emily Keller, age 86 of Mount Gilead died Friday morning, November 15, 2019 at home. She was born on March 30, 1933 in Kentucky to the late Frank and Laura Sparkman Sr.
Emily had a BA from William & Mary College and was 1 semester away from a master’s degree in psychology. She had been a Project Manager for HUD and a Postmaster in Jacksonville, FL.
Emily had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed listening to her son, David’s fishing stories, spending time with her grandkids, and she loved her entire family.
Emily is survived by 9 children: Treva Hodges, Betty Hodges, Barbara Hodges, Donald Hodges, Dottie Hodges, David Keller, Thomas Keller Jr., Carol Keller, Vickie Keller; and 100 plus grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Keller Sr.
