Elizabeth Joanne Fisher

Elizabeth J. Fisher, age 85 of Cardington, died Friday, November 24, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 6, 1932 in Climax, Ohio to the late Carroll D. and Georgia M. (Bartram) Pangborn. Elizabeth was a 1950 graduate of Central High School in Columbus and went on to live her life as a homemaker, providing for her family. Her family was of the upmost importance to Elizabeth, and she adored spending time with them. In Elizabeth's younger years she enjoyed ceramics and bowling. On December 24, 1950 in Columbus, she married Charles E. Fisher and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2009. Elizabeth is survived by 5 children: Charles and Richard Fisher both of Cardington and Michael Fisher of McArthur, 2 daughters, Carol Senters of Cardington and Deborah Chapins of Virginia; 4 siblings: Bill Pangborn of CA, Robert Pangborn of NM and Delores Kitchens of GA; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by a brothers, Larry and Richard Pangborn. Friends may call on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 6:00pm with Chaplin Jeff Slider officiating.
