Donald Lee Steck

Donald L. Steck, age 66 of Cardington died Tuesday Evening, December 12, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on June 13, 1951 in Galion to the late Frederick and Donna (Strong) Steck. Don was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Gilead High School. He worked at Kelsey-Hayes/ T.R.W. in Mt. Vernon where he made brakes for Chryslers. Don enjoyed listening to country music, playing cards and watching T.V. On April 30, 1976, Don married Judith Adams in Cardington, who survives in Cardington. In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his children: Andrew Steck of Big Island, Angie (Jason) Crawford of Iberia, and Bobbi (Kenny) Brodman of Marion; 2 grandchildren: Tyler Steck and Addison Brodman; a brother, Robert Steck of Marengo and sister, Bonnie (Gary) Dowalter of Mt. Gilead. Friends may call on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
