Dana Sherman Obituary

Dana L. Sherman age 80, formally of Cardington, Ohio currently of Twinsburg, Ohio, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Charleston, South Carolina following complications from a fall on January 27, 2019. She was born on November 21, 1938 the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Smith) Sherman of Cardington, OH.

Dana, graduated with a BA from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Reading from Kent State University. She retired from the Bedford School System after 35 years of teaching. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma. Dana loved teaching, traveling and was an avid reader.

Dana is survived by her nieces, Donna Sherman Key of Garland, TX, Denise (Scott) Banks of San Clemente, CA, her nephew Doug (Malvika) Sherman of Long Beach, CA, several great nieces and nephews and her good friend and traveling companion Sandra K. Carr, Twinsburg, OH.

In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her brother Richard, sister Bonnie and twin sisters Judy and Janice who died at birth.

Dana was buried in Glendale Cemetery with the assistance of Gompf Funeral Service.
