Christel Lynn Pyles

Christel L. Pyles, age 46 of Mt. Gilead died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Morrow County Hospital ER. She was born on February 9, 1972 to Noah Reed of Galion and the late Helen (Linley) Reed. Christel was assembler for Silver Line Windows and Core Systems. She loved to do crafts and reading. Christel was a graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School in the class of 1992. On June 15, 1994 Christel married Earl Pyles Jr. in Morrow County, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2012. Christel is survived by a son, Earl Pyles III of Mt. Gilead; siblings: Martha "Tina" (Keith) Clark, Brenda (Mike) Pruett, Noah (Mary) Reed Jr., Adam Reed Sr. all of Mt. Gilead, Daniel Reed of Fulton and Daniella (Terry) Ratliff of Galion. In addition to her husband and mother, Christel was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Pyles; siblings, Donald Reed and Tammy Jones. Family and friends may call Tuesday May 1, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00am; at Gompf Funeral Service; 440 Center St. Cardington, Ohio 43315. The funeral service will take place immediately following at 11:00am, with Pastor Donna Ball officiating. Burial will take place at Rivercliff Cemetery.
