Carol Jane Derr

Carol J. Derr, age 80 of Cardington died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.  She was born on December 6, 1937 to the late Clarence and Mildred (Riley) Derr in Lancaster, Ohio.

Carol was such a kind soul who was loved by everyone. She enjoyed having her nails done, playing cards and games with her friends. All those who met Carol could speak to her exceptional kindness and caring nature. She was an active member of WI where she participated in both work and social activities since starting in 1977. She most recently was active in the Whetstone Industries senior program until her chronic illness kept her from attending.

Carol is survived by her best friend, Elizabeth Blass.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Glendale Cemetery with Pastor Darryle Moody officiating.
