February 22, 1945 - July 30, 2017
Pamela K. Keckler, age 72, of Cardington died Sunday July 30, 2017 in the Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1945 to the late Charles W. and Marjorie June (Ryan) Jackson.
Pam was a 1963 graduate of Cardington-Lincoln High School. She was homemaker for most of her life but as her kids grew older she worked at Kable Fulfillment. Pam was a faithful attender at the St. John Lutheran Church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #97.
Pam was very involved with the Happy Wanderers Senior Group, helped with Gleaner Society and Teachers Association, collected owls, snowmen, bells, Fenton Glass and anything purple. Pam was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed all sports.
On June 27, 1965 in Cardington, Pam married Larry E. Keckler and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2000.
Pam is survived by her children; Cindy Keckler of Columbus and Brian (Laurie) Keckler of Brunswick; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brother Arlan N. Jackson.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 7:00 pm with Rev. Hugh Daley officiating. On Friday, August 4, 2017, there will be a Graveside service at 10:00 am at the Glendale Cemetery.
