Sally Elaine (Workman) Millisor

Sally E. Millisor, age 72, of Mount Gilead died Saturday September 30, 2023. She was born in Marion on June 1, 1951, to the late Leo F. and Virginia M. (Criswell) Workman.

Sally was a 1969 graduate of River Valley High School. She had worked for General Telephone in Marion, was a school bus driver for Cardington-Lincoln Schools, and had worked with pre-school children at Headstart.

Sally enjoyed reading and volunteered at the Cardington Library. She delighted in gardening and tending the flowers around her home. Her biggest job was supervising the family activities and keeping Richard "in line".

On May 1, 1971, Sally married Richard Millisor and he survives her. She is also survived by her children Jill Millisor of Columbus and John Millisor of Marion.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her brother Lee Workman and sister Nancy Bils.

Friends may call on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 11:00AM until the start of the funeral service at 1:00PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. Following the service, the burial will take place in the Bryn Zion Cemetery.
