Charles Danny Dial Jr., age 60 of Cardington passed away Monday October 23, 2023, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on July 24, 1963, in Texarkana, TX., to the late Danny and Betty S. (James) Dial Sr.

Danny had worked for Amco Oil as a heavy Equipment Operator. He enjoyed smoking his cigarettes, drinking Coke Cola or a cold Coors Light and listening to his favorite music that consisted of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Boston, ELO, Cranberries, and Classic Rock. He loved cracking jokes and had a smile that could light up the room. Danny had a passion for tinkering and thought he could fix anything.

Danny is survived by his children: Tammie (Kyle Leeper) Dial of Marion and Betty Jo (Jan Carlos) Dial of Marion; six grandchildren: Calli, Carter, Chole, Paisley, Madelynn, and Jayleigh; his sister Marilyn Brevard of Louisiana; his niece, Landin Burch and nephews, Cameron Burch, and Calvin Burch Jr.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brother Keith Dial.
