Bethanne Renay Lewis

Bethanne Lewis, age 56 of Mount Gilead, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at her home. She was born on September 14, 1967, in Galion to Francis Marion and Lois A. (Keen) Lewis.

Bethanne was a 1986 graduate of Highland High School. She had worked at the Leaf Restaurant, Truck Stop 95, Bennington Glen, and most recently was a custodian at Yutaka.

Bethanne loved her several cats. She enjoyed going to fairs and eating out. Her favorite sports teams were the OSU Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees.


Left to cherish Bethanne's memories are her father, Marion Lewis of Mt. Gilead; brother, David (Tracy) Lewis of Iowa; longtime companion, Ralph Cook of Mt. Gilead; and a nephew, Dylan Lewis.

Bethanne was preceded in death by her mother, Lois A. (Keen) Lewis.

Friends may call on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 11:00AM until the start of the funeral service at 1:00PM at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. Pastor Martin Spearman will officiate. Following the service, the burial will take place in the Bryn Zion Cemetery.
